I’m just wondering what happens when a family does not have the finances to own two kitchens?

“הוּא סִפֵּר לָעָם אֶת הַמָּשָׁל הַזֶּה: "אִישׁ אֶחָד נָטַע כֶּרֶם וְהֶחְכִּירוֹ לְכוֹרְמִים. לְאַחַר מִכֵּן נָסַע לִתְקוּפָה אֲרֻכָּה. בְּבוֹא הָעֵת שָׁלַח עֶבֶד אֶל הַכּוֹרְמִים כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּתְּנוּ לוֹ מִפְּרִי הַכֶּרֶם, אֶלָּא שֶׁהַכּוֹרְמִים הִכּוּהוּ וְשִׁלְּחוּ אוֹתוֹ רֵיקָם. הוֹסִיף וְשָׁלַח עֶבֶד אַחֵר, אַךְ גַּם אוֹתוֹ הִכּוּ וּבִזּוּ וְשִׁלְּחוּהוּ רֵיקָם. הוֹסִיף וְשָׁלַח שְׁלִישִׁי, וְאוּלָם גַּם אוֹתוֹ פָּצְעוּ וְהִשְׁלִיכוּהוּ הַחוּצָה. אָמַר בַּעַל הַכֶּרֶם, 'מָה אֶעֱשֶׂה? אֶשְׁלַח אֶת בְּנִי אֲהוּבִי; אוּלַי אוֹתוֹ יְכַבְּדוּ'. כְּשֶׁרָאוּ אוֹתוֹ הַכּוֹרְמִים נוֹעֲצוּ יַחְדָּיו לֵאמֺר, 'זֶהוּ הַיּוֹרֵשׁ; בּוֹאוּ וְנַהֲרֺג אוֹתוֹ וְהַיְרֻשָּׁה תִּהְיֶה לָנוּ'. הֵם גֵּרְשׁוּהוּ אֶל מִחוּץ לַכֶּרֶם וַהֲרָגוּהוּ. וְעַתָּה מַה יַּעֲשֶׂה לָהֶם בַּעַל הַכֶּרֶם? יָבוֹא וְיַשְׁמִיד אֶת הַכּוֹרְמִים הָהֵם, וְאֶת הַכֶּרֶם יִתֵּן לַאֲחֵרִים." כְּשָׁמְעָם זֺאת אָמְרוּ: "חַס וְחָלִילָה!" הוּא נָעַץ בָּהֶם מַבָּטוֹ וְאָמַר: "וּמַהוּ הַכָּתוּב הַזֶּה, 'אֶבֶן מָאֲסוּ הַבּוֹנִים הָיְתָה לְרֺאשׁ פִּנָּה'? כָּל הַנּוֹפֵל עַל אוֹתָהּ אֶבֶן יִשָּׁבֵר לִרְסִיסִים, וּמִי שֶׁהָאֶבֶן תִּפֺּל עָלָיו - תִּכְתֺּשׁ הִיא אוֹתוֹ." אוֹתָהּ שָׁעָה בִּקְשׁוּ הַסּוֹפְרִים וְרָאשֵׁי הַכֺּהֲנִים לִשְׁלֹחַ אֶת יָדָם בּוֹ, כִּי הֵבִינוּ שֶׁעֲלֵיהֶם הִמְשִׁיל אֶת הַמָּשָׁל הַזֶּה, אֶלָּא שֶׁפָּחֲדוּ מִן הָעָם. הֵם הִתְחַקּוּ אַחֲרָיו וְשָׁלְחוּ מְרַגְּלִים שֶׁהֶעֱמִידוּ פְּנֵי צַדִּיקִים כְּדֵי לְהֵאָחֵז בְּדָבָר מִדְּבָרָיו, בְּמַטָּרָה לִמְסֺר אוֹתוֹ לְסַמְכוּת הַנָּצִיב וּלְשִׁפּוּטוֹ. הַלָּלוּ פָּנוּ אֵלָיו בַּשְּׁאֵלָה: "רַבִּי, אֲנַחְנוּ יוֹדְעִים שֶׁאַתָּה מְדַבֵּר וּמְלַמֵּד נְכוֹנָה וְאֵינְךָ נוֹשֵׂא פָּנִים אֶלָּא מוֹרֶה אֶת דֶּרֶךְ אֱלֹהִים עַל־פִּי הָאֱמֶת. הַאִם מֻתָּר לָנוּ לָתֵת מַס לַקֵּיסָר אוֹ לֹא?" הוֹאִיל וְרָאָה אֶת עָרְמָתָם אָמַר לָהֶם: "הַרְאוּ לִי דִּינָר. שֶׁל מִי הַדְּמוּת וְהַכְּתֺבֶת אֲשֶׁר עָלָיו?" הֵשִׁיבוּ: "שֶׁל הַקֵּיסָר." אָמַר לָהֶם: "אִם כֵּן, תְּנוּ לַקֵּיסָר אֶת אֲשֶׁר לַקֵּיסָר וְלֵאלֹהִים אֶת אֲשֶׁר לֵאלֹהִים." הֵם לֹא יָכְלוּ לְהֵאָחֵז בְּדָבָר מִדְּבָרָיו בְּנוֹכְחוּת הָעָם, וּבִתְמִיהָתָם עַל תְּשׁוּבָתוֹ שָׁתְקוּ. נִגְּשׁוּ כַּמָּה מִן הַצְּדוֹקִים, הָאוֹמְרִים שֶׁאֵין תְּחִיַּת מֵתִים, וְשָׁאֲלוּ אוֹתוֹ: "רַבִּי, מֺשֶׁה כָּתַב לָנוּ שֶׁאִם יָמוּת אִישׁ שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ אִשָּׁה וְאֵין לוֹ בָּנִים, יִקַּח אָחִיו אֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ וְיָקִים זֶרַע לְאָחִיו. וּבְכֵן הָיוּ שִׁבְעָה אַחִים. הָרִאשׁוֹן נָשָׂא אִשָּׁה וּמֵת בְּלִי בָּנִים. וְאַחֲרֵי כֵן הַשְּׁלִישִׁי; וְכָךְ כָּל הַשִּׁבְעָה לֹא הִנִּיחוּ בָּנִים וּמֵתוּ. לְבַסּוֹף מֵתָה גַּם הָאִשָּׁה. אִם כֵּן לְמִי מֵהֶם תִּהְיֶה לְאִשָּׁה בִּתְחִיַּת הַמֵּתִים, שֶׁהֲרֵי הָיְתָה אִשָּׁה לְכָל הַשִּׁבְעָה?" הֵשִׁיב לָהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ: "בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה מִתְחַתְּנִים, אַךְ הַזַּכָּאִים לִנְחֺל אֶת הָעוֹלָם הַבָּא וְאֶת הַתְּחִיָּה מִן הַמֵּתִים אֵינָם מִתְחַתְּנִים, כִּי גַּם אֵינָם יְכוֹלִים לָמוּת עוֹד, שֶׁהֲרֵי שָׁוִים הֵם לְמַלְאָכִים וּבְנֵי אֱלֹהִים הֵם בִּהְיוֹתָם בְּנֵי הַתְּחִיָּה. וְשֶׁהַמֵּתִים קָמִים לִתְחִיָּה גַּם מֺשֶׁה רָמַז בְּפָרָשַׁת הַסְּנֶה שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר 'יהוה אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם, אֱלֹהֵי יִצְחָק וֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֺב'. וְהָאֱלֹהִים לֹא אֱלֹהֵי הַמֵּתִים כִּי אִם אֱלֹהֵי הַחַיִּים, שֶׁהֲרֵי הַכֺּל חַיִּים לוֹ." כַּמָּה מִן הַסּוֹפְרִים אָמְרוּ בִּתְגוּבָה: "רַבִּי, יָפֶה דִּבַּרְתָּ!" וְלֹא הֵעֵזּוּ עוֹד לִשְׁאֺל אוֹתוֹ שׁוּם דָּבָר.” ‮‮לוקס‬ כ:‭9‬-‭29‬, ‭31‬-‭40‬ תנ״ך ומודרני‬ bible.com/bible/2221/luk.20.9-39.תנ״ך ומודרני

Let me ask you this question please, if someone is vegan, no meat, no milk, nothing that is from animal, in that case how do you prepare, store food? What are those methods that you use? Thank you for your answers! Have a loving harmonious day!

I grew up in a broken family. Mom and Dad used drugs and in jail on and off. Foster homes, shelters, you name it. Aunts and Uncles and cousins the same. Practically all the adults I knew were alcoholics. My older brothers got in trouble with the law and my older sisters got pregnant. Grandparents dead. I would have given anything for loving stable parents and siblings with a strong sense of morals and values. Some of their customs are strange to me but I wish I had what they had. I hope to do better with my kids.

I love the kindness and sharing in each other's happiness that I've had the privilege of seeing in the Hassidic community. I was for a year if my life living around and hanging out some at Shabbos and backyard parties with my Modern Orthodox and Hassidic raised friends and I remember the authentic kindness that comes from being raised not to speak ill of others and I remember never feeling left out or not cared about. Baruch HaShem for your lovely community. I wish all your beautiful children well!

The thing with the kid not being boiled in it's mother's milk in the Bible was because God found it abhorrent that the milk that gave the baby life should be used to cook it.

Both my parents were poor. I think I learned in school that there were or are more poor whites than blacks. Most of my life my Dad worked 2 jobs and my Mom started working when I was in 3rd grade. She had 6 children and 7 miscarriages. As a fiber artist who has obsessive compulsive tendencies I found your story to be inspiring. I want to make art out of all the things Ive saved, have a hard time letting go of.
